- Dr. D Sreedhar is a Senior Scientist from Plant Biotechnology stream and Project Manager with over three and half decades of experience in India and overseas in corporate companies involved in dissolving pulp, pulp and paper, irrigation & plantation companies and served in Science Foundations too handling projects aimed at increase of plant productivity of a range of plant species including horticulture and forestry, development of new and innovative techniques for plant propagation.
- He has a natural inclination to orient his projects towards improving rural livelihoods, whatever the species he works on.
- Currently, he is functioning as a free lance Consultant based out of Hyderabad, supporting Forest Department of Chhattisgarh and established a state of the art high-tech nursery infrastructure for production of over five million plants per annum.
- This apart, he is designing the Plantation Programme of an upcoming Pulp and Paper Industry as its Director besides promoting a plant tissue culture laboratory near Hyderabad.
